Prayer is undervalued and over neglected. What is amazing is that we actually verbally connect with the Lord as we seek Him in prayer! Obvious right? But I think we sometimes forget the powerful effects and results of prayer.

Prayer aligns our hearts with God.

Prayer keeps us in the center of God’s mission for us.

Prayer clears our vision so we are assured that we are journeying on the correct path.

Prayer helps to foster our relationship and connection with our Creator.

Prayer settles our heart.

Prayer is powerful because God is powerful.

Prayer is amazing because the Lord actually hears us and cares.

Jeremiah 29:12 says, “Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.”

Make prayer a priority and pray often – you won’t regret the time spent in seeking God!
