Your heart while waiting

It’s so hard to wait.

I’m in a line out the door at Wells Fargo as I’m writing this. People don’t have smiles because they know the wait will take a long, long time.

As I’m at a stand still here I’m reflecting upon the last decade and how the Lord had me wait just as much as I’ve worked.

Waiting is necessary because the opposite of waiting is rushing the Lord. We must remember that His timing is perfect.

Why is God having me wait?

To strengthen you.

To prepare you.

To refine you.

To learn patience and tact when it comes to the time you have left on this earth.

Waiting on God is extremely beneficial because He works in the waiting.

Whatever God is having you wait upon – know that He is working and preparing you for what is ahead!
