Vacations are fun and can be incredibly relaxing. It is great to get away!

13 years ago my wife and I went to Kawaii for 8 days on our honeymoon. We took a tour on inner tubes floating down this canal overlooking God’s Creation, we snorkeled and saw some majorly bright fish, we ate some 5 star food and we spent quality time together!

Even though we had a memorable honeymoon, by the end, we were ready to be home.

Home is where you should be able to rest, relax and be yourself. Home is what we are used to and enjoy coming back to when we are away. Home is where our hearts are.

As believers, our real home is heaven. We are here on earth temporarily and it is a blessing – but the destination that’s prepared for us lacks tears, sorrow and pain. Heaven is the beginning of true life. Heaven is home.

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
