I was a manager at Jamba Juice in Venice beach when I met Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings). He came into the store with his agent to order a Strawberries Wild.

I have never seen anyone so excited to order a smoothie. Elijah said enthusiastically with a huge smile on his face and wide eyes, “I absolutely LOVE Jamba Juice!”

Here’s an actor with a net with of 30 million dollars and getting a Strawberries Wild was like winning an Oscar!

It reminds me to not take the simple blessings from God – for granted. Today our family has been spending time together outside on the trampoline, playing on the slip and slide and having a picnic on towels on the driveway.

I look at our two daughters and see how happy they are that we are just together, enjoying the day with one another.

Soak in the simple moments and don’t take for granted the blessings you have right before you.
