Acts 9:31 – “Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified.”
When we think of the Apostle Paul we think of a man with massive faith. His actions and attitude as he traveled throughout the land preaching the Gospel, were nothing short of radical. He planted churches, prepared pastors and preached wherever God led him. But when Paul was a newer believer, he preached zealously and so his life was threatened by the Hellenists. He was sent out of town to Tarsus where he resided for almost a decade.
It’s interesting to note that the church grew and was edified when Paul was sent away. In our minds, we usually think the opposite. Before Tarsus, Paul was in Arabia a few years, no doubt learning and growing after his powerful encounter with Jesus on the Damascus road. God knew what Paul needed. He knew where Paul needed to go and what Paul needed to do. He knew what the church needed as well. Being omniscient, God knows everything.
God knows where you need to go and what you need to do. As you trust Him and live a surrendered life, you can be 100% confident that you are on the right path. As you stay in-line with His will and His ways, you can be assured you are right where He wants you. Obedience results in walking on the path that God is paving for you. Trust God and allow Him to tear away any distractions that would distance you from Him. As you commune with Him, His voice will become clear.
Psalm 31:3 – “For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me.”
